Great stuff. Now there’s serious rivals they’ll have to contend with each other and keep prices as low as possible.
Maybe one day we’ll all be going on space trips similar to day trips we engage on today.

I doubt it, considering the amount of fuel needed for the number of passengers available. We’d be better off working out a space elevator.

The Virgin Galactic …
The Virgin Galactic program is predicated on entirely new-technology propulsion units which reduce the costs by a quantum factor. And the Virgin craft are 90% reusable after each flight.

But against that, it’s really questionable if Virgin is actually going to “space” – they are sub-orbital flights and incapable of going higher.
