Is the Btec National Diploma in Travel and Tourism course at college any good?
Okay so my younger sister is starting college in september and she has got a place in the btec national diploma in travel and tourism. She asked me if i knew what the course is like, but i don’t know anyone who has done it in college?
I think she just wants to know if its good and what sort of things you do in the course? Thanks
One of my friends did it at college and she really enjoyed it. You can do tastor sessions after you apply, normally you get called where you can go into the college for like 1 or 2 days and have a mini experience of what you;ll do and the subjects you’ll learn within travel and tourism. From what I’ve heard, it’s a good course. You could also go onto the website of the college your sister wants to study at and it should give you all the info about the course, including qualifications you need to be accepted onto the course and also what subjects you will learn within. If this fails to give you info then simply contact the college with your questions. They will be most help.

The course is a BTEC which means that the whole course consists of 100% coursework. It is equivalent to 3 A Levels and you get to travel around the globe at least twice a year for part of the course. This site here best describes the course:
