What do you think Rio De Janeiro can improve in its tourism attractions? What would you like to see there as a tourist? Anything out of the box would be great. Usually what type of travellers go to Rio De Janeiro? Backpackers, Leisure travellers etc?

You don’t know SH*T about Rio… do you? BUY A GUIDE BOOK it will tell you a lot more than asking for sights to see here on Answers…. and it will even tell you about the ONE TOURIST SIGHT EVERYONE SEES… it’s the stupid statue of geezus… you can’t miss it.. just LOOK UP from any place in Rio.

   the only problem with Rio is that is is not very safe. I have know of people who were mugged near the beach during the middle of the day.

   Makes me not very anxious to visit.
   Note: I visited there many years ago and did not have any problems, but have heard that these problems have come in the past 10 years!
