UPDATE: 12/20/07 — The First Amendment is in danger after NY State’s highest court failed to protect American authors
from libel judgments awarded by foreign courts.
This documentary short film, produced by the Moving Picture Institute, shows how Saudi billionaire Khalid Bin Mafhouz exploits the British legal system and sues for libel whenever he is the subject of a terrorism accusation.
Directed by MPI fellow Jared Lapidus, the film explains how Mahfouz filed a libel suit against Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld, author of Funding Evil; How Terrorism is Financed — and How to Stop It. The suit was not filed in the United States, where the book was published and sold, but instead in London, where Mahfouz associates ordered 23 copies online. The judge ordered all copies of the book pulped, and ordered Ehrenfeld to pay the legal fees and damages, despite the fact that nothing in her book about Saudi funding of terrorism was ever disproved.
Ehrenfeld, however, is fighting back. In The Libel Tourist she speaks about her shocking experience of modern-day book burning by British courts, and the First Amendment lawsuit she filed against Mahfouz. Unfortunately, on December 20, 2007, NY State Court of Appeals sidestepped the First Amendment rights and protections.

There is a very fundamental dichotomy here. Freedom of speech is a right to speak what the individual believes to be the truth. However that belief can be extremely damaging to those against whom such truths are directed. Is it not merely justice that the defamed individual has the right to require his or her detractors to prove the accuracy of their truths before a Judge and Jury and if they are unable so to do be required to pay compensation for the damage done to his reputation?

The Saudis are …
The Saudis are Wahabi’s. This was a man made sect within the religion and was made with the help of the British along with a corrupt family called the Saud family from Najd, east side of Arabia. The British gave them so much power, they ruled the land and thus made a royal family. In Islam, you do not have royalality but a leader which is elected.

There are two types of Muslims: active terrorists and passive terrorists.
Muslims find it convenient to explain that Muslims committing acts of terrorism are not “real” Muslims, and that they insult Islam.
Do you remember the fierce Muslim demonstrations over the Danish cartoons? They called for the beheading of those who “insult” Islam

Saudi Arabia is the source of all our problems. The bigest blow we can deal to them is to break the oil habit. They’re fighting us with our own money. I urge everyone to buy an electric car as soon as you are able. Park the gas guzzler & vote for true patriots on all levels of government. That’s my goal. Not quite there yet but I’m working on it. Cut your fuel bill by 90% & stick it to the Saudi’s at the same time, does it get any better then that?

We should have let …
We should have let Saddam Hussein slaughter the Saudi Royal Pigsty in 1990-1991, and only afterward moved in to deal with Saddam. Two problems could have been solved at the same time, and the ordinary Saudi people (especially women) would be much better off today. Saudi Arabia is also holding female U.S. citizens in white slavery, an act of war against the United States.

Remember that the only plane which was allowed to depart after 9/11 was plane with Osama relatives. Remember that instead of wiping out Saudis and take over oil wells, Bush sent young guys to die in Iraq and Afganistan and promises us long war on terror to deliver huge profit to military complex too. He should be impeached for treason.
