What is the best Philippine Tourism Website?

Currently, what do you think is the best Philippine Tourism Website out there and why?

If you believe that all the current ones are not that good what do you suggest should be done & how can people (especially Filipinos) be proactive in promoting & helping out?

The http://www.tourism.gov.ph/ is good; but, the Tourism Department can do better by updating it quarterly or biannually.

Other good tourism sites are the Philippines’ provincial and city websites where each province, town or city feature their main tourist attractions.

There are also websites created by volunteers who promote their locality’s main and not so popular attractions.

Here are some websites.

Add:

Agree with Tina and Jan-na on Ivan Henares and wayspoint.

There are also other sites to check out.

Still, the most effective way to promote our country is by word of mouth; and, how we conduct ourselves, as Filipinos, at home and in other countries.

BTW, Boracay made it again to Trip Advisor’s Top Ten Beac Destinations.

This is the hottest tourist attraction in the Philippines to date and not only that, also, several islands surrounding CAMSUR are now being planned to open for the public as tourist attractions in the near future. YEHEY! Can’t wait to spend my summer vacation with my nanay there next year!

    Added:
The promotion, made by the government of CAMSUR, is already a HUGE success nonetheless we still need to help to spread the word in order to continuously invite vacation goers not only in CAMSUR but also to other vacation destinations!

There are some Pinoy bloggers that are actively trying to improve the flow of information on travel to more obscure places in the Philippines. Some examples:

Many of the sites are outdated, you often see sites even the DOT sites promoting events from 3 or 4 YEARS ago. hotels that do not exist any more are available for bookings. For the subic area these sites are good IMHO
