   bbchami, Thanks for posting! Before the end of 2009, I hope to make my 4th trip within 2 years to Thailand. I’ve been to 24 other countries. No comparison to any… Thailand is the best. Unbeatable food, culture, beauty… People are ridiculously nice.

    I visited Thailand recently in March of this year. I will say if you want traditional and great culture Chiang Mai in the North is a great place. The people are kind and I had some great experiences. If you want crazy party then head South.

    I’ve been 5 times …
    I’ve been 5 times over the past 3 years. I say go if you haven’t gone. Do the south islands, Khao Sok national park, and go to Chiang Mai as well as north hill tribe country. Thailand is beautiful. Just be aware that scams run rampant and do keep track how many beers or food you consumed as it’s common to get over charge bills. I find the Thai to be a bit overly aggressive towards tourists at walking ATM’s in the 2 big cities, but really cool in rural areas. Just go.
