The Dept. of Conservation advises that due to an aerial drop of Sodium Mono Fluoroacetate (1080)in the Coromandel forest they ‘advise all trampers to bring their own water requirements and PLEASE do not take any water from this area for consumption, to not handle any bait or carcasses, and DO NOT leave children untended.
It would be irresponsible to not advise any potential visitors to the area of this.
Clean green no more.
