Well, it is either because the buildings are too old or they are built without permission from the related Municipality or they don’t comply with the related building codes and regulations.

   In places where there is sustainable tourism the hotels are demolished because of

   1)They are build with out being allowed by the from the municipality.

   2)They are not safe in case of fires,earthquakes etc.

   3)The hotel is sold or a new hotel is going to be build in its place.
