Is the tourism industry good or bad for coastlines? Why? What evidence is there to your answer, what does more tourism jobs mean for the coastline? Explain why this is good/bad for the people living on the coastline and the environment? And what jobs are done on the coastline? PLEASE HELP!
Bad…whatever man studies he changes! Building condo’s and housing in places like ocean fronts and beaches is a disaster for the eco system. We are destroying the planet in the name of leisure.

what cultural impact has tourism had on Ireland? How does tourism effect the natural environment? what are the pros and cons of tourism in Ireland?
please answer ASAP!
Okay this sounds like Geography homework, am I right? This is probably not the best place to get answers as people could write anything on here! If I were you I would use my Geography textbook to answer these questions, that’s probably the point, they want you to read through your Geography! Pardon me if I’ve got the wrong end of the stick!

For a French project I have to write "A description of the climate and how the seasons affect tourism" . I have the Cllimate I just need to find out how the seasons affect the tourism in Limousin/Limoges. Please give Link if you have one.
Ta!
Limoges experiences an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb) common to much of Western France. Most precipitation occurs between October and February. On 27 December 1999, winds reached 148 km/h. On average, the city receives 41 days of frost and seven days of snow each winter. In June, July and August, precipitation tends to come only from violent thunderstorms which are formed over the Bay of Biscay.
Aveage temp year is 56 degrees, which means that winters are mild and summers pleasant, which is good for tourist.

I’m 25 years old and have a BA in History. However, I love to travel and was thinking a degree in travel and tourism would be more prosperous and fit my interest.

Check this out. They only have SUNY Maritime and NYU listed. I met there is more though

I’m young, but I have always been business-orientated. I have had success with businesses in the past, making $2040 in one month from a hair extensions business I set up myself, aswell as an online clothing store which I made some money from and a popular fansite where I was able to make profit from affiliate programs. I’m Caribbean, and interested in the tourism industry. I want to start something big, that I can make millions from, but requires little capital to start-up. Any ideas? Thanks.
a restraunt, but that WILL require money

I am 23 years old, living in the UK with currently no experience in events.
However, I wish to begin a career in the industry. I have just finished a BTEC national diploma in travel & tourism, with 3 distinctions. (I don’t wish to go to university).
Is it possible for me to gain a good career as events organiser/coordinator with this qualification? If so, how?
God bless.
How many jobs are actuallyreadily available in event management?
I think in the last nine months in my own area I have seen once such vacancy.
You have no practical experience to offer against some one with a degree in events management as they can offer the experience gained on practical placements so you may struggle.
But you could start to gain work experience in the hospitality trade as a starting point, perhaps in hotels or bars or restaurants to give you a base line.
