What are the impacts of tourism in Montreal?
I really need to know what the cultural and economic impacts that tourism in montreal has on the local people. Also what do the local people think about said impacts?

None, really. It helps keep the airport and railway station busy and a few downtown stores sell souvenirs.

Check the web site of tourist information center.
About the impact… well it is moderate, I could say that some neighborhoods like the Old-Port of Montreal are more affected than the rest of the city since it’s more Tourist orientated site.
Seems your question is for a tourism expert more than for regular people like me.
