Often, the chance to travel will result in having to take a cut in wages.
Working on a cruise ship may sound like fun, but it also requires to be
able to stay away from home for extended periods of time.

What kind of tourist jobs could I get with a Cert IV in Tourism with my B.Arts/B.Education?

Defintely tourism is at its low due to the aussie dollar being very high. However, that doesnt mean you can give it a go for a change. If it doesnt work out you always got teaching to fall back too. If you are that point you want a change i would do it and i guess the pay has to be right as well. In regards to which jobs i am not sure but i would go on jobseek.com.au and look under tourism/hospitality and see what qualification they maybe asking. I also know alot of people who start working in hotels and find out which direction and move up in the scales there… marketing, human resourse etc. Good Luck

The 747 has too been great for the airlines !

It’s SAFE. (Compared to other designs REALLY SAFE).

It’s cheaper to operate.

It’s high bi-pass engines are in fact a MARVEL of efficiency. If the FAA would let them tow it up they could fly half way round the world with even less fuel.

It requires less employees per passenger mile.

It now qualifies for Federal Military assistance, as it could be considered a potential militia’s instrument.of war (see Boeing’s Laser equipped 747). So it might save the USA’s sole domestic aircraft producer.
